I got the email at 8 AM this morning! My salesman said Christmas came at 5:40 this morning! I've got tires coming, and I have to clean out the van to possibly trade, but it's going to be in my driveway today!

I'm sure nobody cares, but here's a link to my Spotify playlist:

I've got a few songs from 1965, the first year for the Gen 1 bronco. I've also got a few from 1988, the model year for my first Bronco ("Fast Car" is a cover by Black Pumas and it's awesome). The rest are either bluesy rock tunes that I feel match the attitude of the Bronco, songs I like, or contributions from my kids.
What is and what should never be 😍

Nice Ride! Happy 4th and please post pics & reviews after you have time to get some miles on her. Like others, interested in what you experience with new tires and a review of the soft top.
Bronco on!!

Welcome to the Cactus Gray Big Bend 4 door club! There's more of us than I thought.

You're going to LOVE it! Just don't judge the transmission until you've driven it for a bit. It learns from you quickly but isn't especially pleasant at first.

Great news -- congrats. Maybe I missed it, but what dealership? And where's your road trip going to take you?
Russell Barnett in Tullahoma. And I'm headed to North MS via the Natchez Trace Pkwy in a few weeks, then to Austin for the Off-Rodeo.

Impressions:

Color/appearance: I had started having cold feet after seeing my dealer's pics of the cactus gray. Looked almost baby blue. Would it be "mean" enough? The answer in person: OH YEAH! The stance is great, even though I'm getting 33's put on it when they come in next week. It sits high and looks aggressive, even with 32's.

Top: It was super easy to get into the first position. Just two levers and flip. But to get it all the way down required taking out the windows **I think** Can anyone confirm that the windows have to be out to let the soft top all the way down? I will look in the PDF manual later.

There was some whistling when I took it for the initial drive around the block. Not sure if the velcro wasn't fully attached or what. Not a deal breaker for me by any stretch, just something to keep an eye on.

Getting the windows back in was a chore. Hopefully it will get easier.

Driving: I didn't check acceleration in any true way; I'm going to observe the break-in period. I could smell the "new" burning off the motor as a reminder to take it easy. It had all the power I needed so far. I'm getting 17.5 MPG so far, with a healthy mix of city and hwy driving. Mostly city to start, so I'm sure it will climb. Once my 1000 miles is up, it will go in Sport mode and/or I'll manually shift the auto to make the 2.7 work.

It rode as I would expect. I have a TItan XD 4x4, and the ride was comperable. Firm, as opposed to the Navigator I had a few years ago, but stable over bumps with tight steering and an overall stable feel.

Interior: What are people talking about, cheap interior? It looks rugged and well-put-together. No rattles (yet, or hopefully ever). The dash is textured plastic but not soft-feel. The dash readout is a little busy and will take some getting used to, but I will adapt.

The stereo is adequate, as @PREMiERdrum I think said. My kids could hear in the back with the top down without much trouble. Bass was adequate.

I made two calls with the top down going 45-55 MPH. My wife could understand me and I could understand her. That's a good sign.

I got the extended warranty: 7/100,000 miles. $2200. A little peace of mind.

If you have any questions, let me know. I love it so far!!!

EDIT: A huge shoutout to Russell Barnett Ford in Tullahoma. My wife decided she wanted to ditch her 2018 Chrysler Pacifica minivan, and they gave us what VROOM was offering no questions asked. They took special pains when detailing it, and threw in a Bronco hat for good measure.

Awesome. Great pics and review. :) The soft top actually looks pretty good in your pics. Bummer about the window installation but like you said hopefully it will get easier over time.

I seem to remember during the dealer road show I attended that they did not push the top all the way down "because the windows were still in".

Regarding the top/window removal - all of the videos I’ve seen with the pros showing the soft top, they took the windows out first. Probably wise as those window panels will start to crack if we’re not careful.

Congrats on your sweet ride!

Friendly reminder that my album, Whenever You Need Somebody, went Platinum in 1988 and not a single song from it is on your supposed "play list".

Perhaps you remember this smash hit? It should be on your play list.
