I doubt anybody at Ford gives a honk what we think. But perhaps someday, a management change will happen at Ford, stumble across this poll, and realize that they are really freaking annoying, not only their customers, but every living creature within honk distance of every one of their customers.

NOTE: Even if you’ve disabled it with Forscan you can still vote your thoughts

Our VW makes chime noises from the speakers when you walk away with the key. It’s been just as effective without the obnoxious honk of the bronco

I absolutely hate it from the depths of my heart. I hope the Ford employee that came up with this has diarrhea, and a belt malfunction, at this very moment.

I've been lazy but at some point I'll be forscanning it away. I haven't triggered it often but everytime I do I'm like wtf!

And taken to an absolutely absurd end, that double honk would be really good at telling any nefarious passers-by that the keys for the vehicle are with the person that just exited the vehicle, so if you wanna steal it nows the time! (Yes, this is absurd, and a Lifetime Movie scenario)

It's just as dumb as GM insisting that the default behavior when you unlock the car is to TURN ON THE REVERSE LIGHTS.

🤣🤣🤣 to option 1

I've only set it off a couple times, but the first time was while hunting and my buddy almost killed me. We just left the key in the car the rest of the time we spent scouting from the Bronco.

SO MUCH THIS for GM. They singlehandedly made parking lots so much worse.

This is a silly post, because there is a setting to disable it. You don’t need any special tool or Forscan. 🤦🏻‍♀️

It's a little annoying but it's not that big of a deal. All cars without keys do some kind of noise.

I think that is a different thing. I believe that is for the beep noise when you touch the touch screen. We are talking about the horn honking twice when you exit the vehicle while it is running with the keys on your person.
