Suparee Recon 2 light install and review

First a thanks to @suparee for having a giveaway and selecting me, it was a nice surprise. I was really surprised when 2 sets of lights showed up (Spot and Flood) as I definitely was not expecting to receive both. I have had the lights for a few weeks now, but due to a death in the family I was unable to install them on the Bronco until today. The lights come boxed up very nicely, with both a complete wiring harness and wiring for connecting the lights to Aux switches, I chose to wire them to my Aux switches, as I have unused ones and didn’t want to run wiring into the cab.

Wiring the lights is straight forward, I mounted the spot lights on my A pillar‘s, wiring the amber DRL to a separate switch so that I could see how I like the DRL function. The floods I mounted on my bumper, not sure if I will keep them this way or swap them around. I tried to wire everything up so that I can easily swap locations if I choose to down the road, we will see how it looks once it gets dark. I decided to wire all 4 lights together on my Aux 3 switch (30A) as I feel that when I use them it will be all 4, and I have no intentions of running a light bar or larger bumper bar. For the floods I wired both wires for power (red and white) together to see what they look like with the amber DRL and white both on, the white light way overpowers the amber.

The lights are very nice looking, are extremely bright and I am excited to see how they look once the sun goes down. The hardware included for mounting them is run of the mill, time will tell if it holds up or starts rusting. I will make updates in the future once I have more time to use the lights.
