Was watching Leno’s Garage from May of this year. Apparently Jeep has a camouflage new Jeep Leno was driving. I guess waiting for Bronco reveal so they can TRY to up their game.
Going to be a tough week for Jeep for sure ???

Uh yeah you figured out how to open the tailgate on the old FSB. One of the beauties of that is, if you have a trailer attached, need to get to something in the back just roll down window. Tho I can tell you with trailer hooked up to wife's Jeep, I can't open swing gate Therefor I can't open window. Crappy design.

Hence the saying.... If it ain't broke, don't fix it. ?
Some people prefer the old tailgate, actually I don't think I saw 1 person say they disliked the old tailgates. Yet plenty of people are in here NOT saying they prefer a swing gate but instead telling other people to shut up about the tailgate.

Just my 2 cents anyways.

They do? I hadn't noticed....

Try every other Bronco ever made. They all had more of a slope/fast back to them. I don’t think it would have been to hard to angle the back a few more degrees.
Then the complaint would be that they sloped it too much and you can't fit a _'x_'x_' box in the back perfectly.

I don’t think anyone has complained about that in the previous Broncos. I’m not talking about a land rover slope. Just an angle like all the other past Broncos had. It isn’t much but it makes all the difference in the profile and differentiating it from a Jeep and really most other vehicles. It was something that always was an aspect of a Bronco.

Perspective could be playing tricks on your eyes. From this angle, the EB is has no slope either.

Here’s hoping!

I’ve been bummed about the back end ever since the renders a while back, where the 2-door got the sexy front quartering angle and the 4-door got the “wait isn’t that a Jeep?” rear quartering away angle.
