Question for anyone who may have installed this Bimini top which I bought off Amazon.

I'm putting back on my mic top and have to take off 4 bungies and curious if you have the same issue.

The ones circled in red. Front two I could not get the guide pin into the hole so they were removed. Back two are where the bolts are to mount the back cap to the top so it would be in would have to take off the mount for the bungie every time I take the top off... Curious if any one else has this same issue and how they got around it or do they just leave that off?

I just installed mine yesterday and was thinking there would be issues when I put the tops back on. The back two you circled I didn't put them on and I was fine, will find some points maybe to zip tie them to later for now its not an issue if the aren't used. As for the front two I was thinking of securing them with zip ties since they need to be removed to install top back on. I just hope there are no leaks anywhere when it rains and still get good seals.

Same here…Yep, you have to take some of them off because they conflict with the cargo top bolt holes or latches.

Did you try driving around without those bungies in? I couldn't because of rain in the forecast and being busy today and no help to take the top off. Was the bimini top ok without those bungies on?

Yes I drove maybe 15-20 top speed 50mph and it was fine. So was able to install all minus those two and when putting tops back on just had to remove the very two in the front hooks in the front and everything snapped in perfectly.
