i purchased a bronco Wildtrak couple weeks ago month it was built is March 21, 2023 ..
I seen you guys have a rattle defect for the year built March 20, 2023 and before .. mine makes a lot of rattle I’ve been to the dealership I purchased and they only replaced the subwoofer but still it makes a lot of rattle how i mentioned , can my bronco date still be a defect ?? And they can go ahead and replace the parts that you guys posted ? Even if it’s a day apart ? They are saying I don’t qualify for that service

On mine, I found that the newer style clips to not be the primary issue. The subwoofer transfers a lot of vibration to the chassis through the mounting points. For instance, the seat-belt assembly would rattle and vibrate.

I reduced the amount of transferred vibration by adding damping material into the quarter panel along with using sorbathane top-hat washers to help isolate the subwoofer from the mounting bolts/washers. Going further, addition of CLD in appropriate areas. I didn't have to but you could also apply a bit of tesa tape at the clips if that is also a concern (if it jiggles easily).

That has done a great job in eliminating vibration.

Seatbelt was also main source of my rattling. I have doubts replacing those two piece clips will help anything, definitely not in my Bronco. Line everything possible with Kilmat and adding rubber washers top and bottom of all sub enclosure mounting locations. Fixed mine 95%.

I'd like to line my entire vehicle. Wind noise in a 2 door hard top is a bit loud at 50mph and above.
