I am new here. I have researched the difference in the gauge between the Capable and the Modular bumper, but I have not come up with an answer to this.
Does anyone have these specs?
Thanks for your help.

Why are you wondering? If you're deciding between to the two for an order, metal gauge isn't much of a factor. mod has larger aftermarket accessory support. they look different, so that's a factor.

If you're considering metal thickness cuz you think you're gunna smack something off road, neither will take much force to bend in (cap and mod bumper owners can chime in there) from what I can see with friends who have the mod.

My mod is 0.130” on the exterior - so 10 gauge ~ish

I can’t recall if the internal reinforcements are the same gauge or not - but probably

Not sure about the capable but would be surprised if it’s much different

This is true - it’s not a monolithic piece of steel - the horns bolt on separate from the main piece, all of which has independent rear support plates. With some bolts holding it all together - it won’t be nearly as strong as aftermarket ones that are fully welded long solid pieces

Probably has a better crash protection rating though as it will flex like crazy - like a crumple zone

I would get the modular for mods and looks. As others stated neither will smash rocks. OEMs are designed with many considerations such as contacting a human. Not just inanimate objects.
