The RC Tow Hook Brackets are pretty awesome… super easy to install.

So why hasn't a nudge bar (police interceptor style) been made to mount there and hopefully not block any sensors?

I went with plastic standard because I wanted the fogs and switch in the cabin that my OBX comes with.

I'll either replace the whole bumper, but would be satisfied with a nudge bar (not the rough country one, it blocks everything and doesn't really have the style I'm going for).

RC has one. Doesn't guarantee the sensors won't be interfered with though.

So you didn't read my last sentence I see.

I stated I didn't want the RC one because it blocks everything and doesn't have the style I'm going for.

The nudge bar I'd like would be something like this... Old school:

Has anyone investigated fabricating a receiver for the front? Maybe something like this that connects to the current tow hook brackets?

I know we would have to be careful not to block the intercooler vent, and as I have the Mid package only I wouldn't have camera/sensor issues in the front.

It would be good to have a winch platform that I could l mount to a front receiver. That way it would only be there when I needed it.

Definitely following as well. That RC bar is near what I'm looking for and may be what I end up going with, but would be interested in what else comes out.

Yeah we definitely need more options here. if I don't see any soon I'm going to replace the whole bumper completely with DV8 or something similar.

Did you all just replace your plastic bumper or did anyone find any bull bars (except RC) that fit and don't interfere with sensors?

it is just remove a couple bolts and replace with the Tow Hook Bracket correct. No cutting involved.

Does aftermarket just need to create new green and purple pieces? I'm just interested in learning more about options. I was very surprised that someone had to cut off pieces to get the mod bumper on as I considered looking for one on the secondary market.

I just installed my steel capable bumper on a bronco with a plastic bumper. It really was not a big deal to cut the tow hooks at all. You'll get D-ring mounts in the frame anyways.
