Spotify Carplay issue?

Has anyone experienced the issue with carplay when you are at the spotify menu and tap the top left icon to pull up now playing and it shows that screen for a millisecond then goes back to the menu?

I tap the top left again and its fine. I'm wondering if its an issue with the phone connecting via wireless and usb.

I had the same issue with my '21 Outback with wired carplay. Pretty sure it's a carplay/spotify issue.

YES!! Not a big deal, but super annoying. It’s only started happening in the past few days that I’ve noticed. I finally updated to iOS 15 last week and Spotify shows that it updated 1 day ago. So I’m assuming there is a bug in one or the other that will hopefully be fixed soon. At least I’m not the only one.

100% has been happening to me for a few weeks. Likely a spotify issue.
