Have a new one on the passenger side just above the window. I thought it was the housing around the frame but that doesn't seem it, nor does it sound like it's the protective plastic. Anyone dealt with this before? I wish i could just accept these little quirks but got the damn OCD so every noise and buzz drives me nuts. Thanks in advance.

The soft top has nothing to do with window rattle. Window closes on same surfaces as hard top or without a top.

If it’s the rattle above my driver side window I have it as well. Sort of comes and goes but it’s 100% the soft top and not the window. I just kind of accept that since it’s a removable soft top you will have these sort of noises and what not…

My guess is that it’s the tension cable rattling around but I’m not sure that cable even comes that far up tbh.

There is an adjustment you can make...there's a screw adjustment on the bottom of the door that moves windows in/out a bit. Other threads for details.
