If we order a soft top now then get the hard top later what will it cost? On the B&P its a $695 upgrade over the standard soft top.. It would be nice to have a new Bronco earlier but if it costs $2500-3000 to get the hardtop later I will just wait.

Having said that, maybe the aftermarket will have white hard tops, if so then maybe it's worth it..

I suspect there will be plenty of aftermarket options available in the coming months, which will be cheaper than an OEM Ford MIC top. And maybe better quality; who knows at this point.

This is why I switched to a soft top.

Every bit of 3k and most likely more. The aftermarket Jeep tops have been around for awhile which allows for a lower price point.

Yup Mic will be pushing $3k shipped to your dealer and the mod top will be a lot more.
I have heard it from good authority that with the materials pricing changes of late the new MOD top produced by Ford themselves will be priced around $7k in 2023.

I doubt that authority knows what they are talking about…they would sell near zero / effectively zero at $7k. l’ll assume you’re just breaking balls.

Soft top credit of maybe $1800, MIC incremental credit of $700, mod top incremental before pulling the plug of $2500, that is five grand right there. The black paint is factory applied, so it would be a lot more in the field, with shipping and painting locally, and a modest 10% increase spread over two years, yeah, every bit of $7k and then some could be true in 2023.

im not, unfortunately. FYI the previous MOD top is/was priced at $4850 retail, it was just a $3k upgrade over the soft top in build and price. The my neighbor (vacation home) is on the interior design/ride quality team and knows I’m holding out for a white painted MOD. There’s probably a $2k price increase due to more aluminum, better seals and laminate glass windows instead of polycarbonate (just my guess, all he told me was to expect it to be ~$2k more in ā€˜23)
