It hasn’t been delivered yet. I don’t reside in Colorado so it’s being delivered to me.

So I'm here.. I'm the previous owner of that rig.

I sold it outright in exchange for a box of pizza bites, hot pockets and a golden eagle/double pump/Carmel machiato. That old Bronco represented a toxic male-dominated, fascist stereotype that marginalized other sis-gender suvs and suppressed social vehicle classes....I had dealership remove the AC unit because I hate anything ICE-cold related!

you should have flown out and drove it home. I don’t trust delivery drivers. You never know what may happen to it in transit.

I almost did, but the weather here is bad and the roads are covered in salt/spray.
This only has 2k miles on it and it's a 1300-mile trip, So, half of that is bad roads mixed with salt/spray. So, I'd like to keep it salt free for a while. Salt and the spray they use around here eats vehicles. It ate up my fully restored XJ in about 3 years.

I have insurance on it already, and it's also covered under the policy while in transport. It is also getting shipped via enclosed trailer, so I hope it's ok.

I’ve had friends that have had motorcycle transported and in most cases they end up with damage. Same for friends doing enclosed transports with cars. I’ve riding motorcycles and driven vehicles x-country instead of having them shipped.

Salt washes off. I hope you took detailed pictures before they loaded it. Stuff happens.

driving it in the weather is one way to get to know it. Unless it’s gonna be a garage queen.

Your money, your choice. Since it was in Denver, I hope the deal wasn’t a bend over one.

I looked at dealers in Denver and Springs, I’m in southwestern CO, and they acted like they were the only ones selling them. Besides, Denver is a terrible place and a driving nightmare. I found ours 80 miles away instead of 450.

I feel as if I got a fair deal as it's basically "new" with that mileage. I have a friend that's a sales manager at a ford dealer here and he let me see what most of these go for at the dealer auctions.

And I know there's a risk with transport and I also know there's absolutely no damage to it right now. The dealer is fully aware too. And from my understanding the dealership is in close connection with the guy transporting it and reassured me it will be in the same condition when I get it as it is now. I'm also under the impression it will be loaded at the dealer and not moved from its position at all in the trailer until it gets to my driveway. I'm paying a premium price for that bit of reassurance.

As far as it being a garage queen. I have no plans to drive this in the winter season here. It will be a weekend fun toy for the wife and I. There are some days where it's too hot to be on the bike. So, having this with the doors and the top off will be a nice unique/fun experience that will fill the void for the bike.

The last 3 vehicles I’ve purchased were shipped in from out of state, enclosed trailers and no problems. Especially if the dealer sets up the shipper you should be fine, and I agree not wanting to drive it on salty roads. Love the stripes! Happy trails and post pics

Well, it arrived. I’ll get some pictures up soon. It came in a 2 car trailer and was handled professionally. No damage from transport.

I did notice the previous owner still had his phone paired “Wyatt”. Any Wyatt in here? 😂
