Bronco’s look awesome, I can’t deny it. I drooled over the classic late 60’s rigs my friends had back in my CJ7 days. The new Bronco announcement got me jonesing for a new Moab rig too, so I have to give it credit. But reliability worries with modern Fords and any vehicle’s 1st year design issues are what took me back to Jeep after several years out of the 4x4 scene. I’m happy with my choice ultimately. These things cost too much to chance it on an unproven vehicle in my opinion.
Welcome to the forum, glad to hear you are enjoying your Jeep!

Shit happens. If we lived in a perfect world how much fun would that be. I’m more worried about getting Covid than loosing an engine. Life does not come with a warranty. Run the shit out of those Broncos under warranty and enjoy every minute. I use to worry about the type writer tick on my Mustang. Three years counting and she still runs like a beast.

I loosed an engine once, right after I had Covid for the 4th time. Man up, pony.

That brings back a lot of memories from my '12 GT and the forums. That tick on the Coyote (and the MT82 crunching) drove many people insane and probably to an early grave.

Which fourth rate foreign entity is at the Stellarzoombis helm this week again?

Jeep, crashing corporations since Wisconsin.

Yeah so basically don't learn from other people mistakes or problems right? If there's a real issue with a certain vehicle or anything else and you see others talking about it from there experience what you ignore it?? Good luck with that.
Bro, take a Xanax and go to bed.

Not my concern, just want a proven vehicle I feel confident in. $57K was too much to spend to take that much of a chance, especially as Broncos hit the streets and quality issues became widely known.

Ok. I'm sorry but it's one 2.7 after another failing. This is getting to be waaay more concerning as the weeks go on.

I'm getting to the point where I'm either going to change my order to the 2.3L or switch to a Jeep.

If you don't think this is a big deal just wait until you finally get your Bronco after months to years of waiting and then it grenades and your Bronco ends up at a dealership getting fixed for months. Not something I'm willing to go through.

Just listen to this guy's story. Um yeah. No thanks. Definitely don't want to be another 2.7 casualty. Honestly these quality issues are pissing me off. Not really excited to get a Bronco anymore. You??
No, quite the contrary, I am thrilled to have gotten one (with a 2.7 and no problems) But it sounds like you are getting cold feet, so I-along with dozens of others-would be tickled pink to take that order off your hands. The problem with your fear is that there is nothing valid about it. That is to say you have nothing but random, anecdotal war stories rather than statistically significant hard data that objectively prove that there is a problem with the 2.7 over and beyond the standard first year vehicle roll out. Haphazard generalities do not a sky fall make. Good luck with your jeep.

You people bragging that you have no issues at 2k miles crack me up. Talk to me when you have at least 30k. 👍🤣
Not meant to be argumentative, but

Saying that you place no value on an individuals experience because they have less than 30K Miles, while complaining about the reliability of a Bronco when you don't even own one, seems, well - Hypocritical.

You take social media posts that present a problem affecting an unknown percent of an unknown population as proof of a problem, and report a bucket of opinions not backed by facts. Then when actual owners report no problems with their ownership, you discount their experience. All the while in communications with a group of Bronco owners and hopeful owners, implying that another brand maybe a better choice for you.

I say good-on ya! Vote with your dollars and get a Jeep if you're so concerned, but don't be too surprised when this particular forum doesn't share and embrace your views. And, please don't tell me my real 2.7 ownership experience doesn't matter.

Funny. I was thinking more of a 392 Rubicon. But ok. 👎🤣
I’m a former Wrangler owner and it was fun, but in the shop a lot. Have a 4Runner right now and at 70,000 miles with just maintenance. Drove the Bronco twice on long tests and it’s incredibly better on the road than either. Are you familiar with Jeep reliability ratings? Here’s a recent summary:

“The outlook for the 2021 Jeep Wrangler isn’t much better. According to Consumer Reports, this year’s Wrangler earned a two out of five predicted reliability rating. Consumer Reports marked the Wrangler’s suspension, power equipment, and in-car electronics as potential trouble spots.
U.S. News & World Report also gave this year’s model some pretty dismal reliability ratings. According to its data, this year’s Wrangler earned only a two out of five predicted reliability rating. Unfortunately, J.D. Power has yet to rate the 2021 Jeep Wrangler. “

I‘ve worked behind the service desk at a Ford dealership and on the phones working lemon law cases for Pontiac in Detroit. If you want maximum reliability, go Toyota. Ford is not too far behind. Jeeps are not reliable across the spectrum of vehicles, and Wranglers are annually one of the worst.

Thanks, and I should have elaborated, I hope Ford settles in on this Bronco, a generation or two in and I would probably look at them again. They’re gorgeous vehicles for sure.

I can understand that. I bought my JLU May of 2018; first of the JLU’s…it was bulletproof. Sold it and got my Fe Bronco and loving it so far. Statistically speaking the Bronco has relatively low incidents. Enjoy your JLU sir and see you on the trails.

I bought my f250 6.0l psd in 3/2003.....during infancy stage of online truck, car, diesel forums such as this. For every complainer there's about a thousand happy customers lol. Most folks don't frequent vehicle forums to hand out compliments....

Troll is a troll...
LOL, you got that right. This guy started a thread about the 2.3 "maybe" being the better engine, just not sure...and then posted endlessly about how the 2.3 really did seem like the better engine.
Now the Jeep is "maybe" the better vehicle. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
