There's no way it's only 4 or 5 with issues. I feel like every other day I hear a new story of a 2.7 failing. There's people that have 2.7s that aren't on thos forum.
That is what I am kinda getting at. There are 4-5 on here, so say there is 10x that amount that you are seeing on facebook or where ever else. That's 50ish out of 45,000. 🤷‍♂️ Go ahead and bump it to 100x (which it is no where near) and that barely makes it to 1% with issues.

Honestly there aren't enough Broncos out roaming in the wild yet to call it a definitive issue.

My brand new Explorer with 800 miles on it grenaded it's transmission. My New Explorer they traded me after that now has 45k miles in 2 years and works like a charm.

You people bragging that you have no issues at 2k miles crack me up. Talk to me when you have at least 30k. 👍🤣

I had an RS with a 2.3 and when they came out it seemed like it was one 2.3 liter grenade after another. Didn't stop me from enjoying the hell out of my car.

Now I have a Voodoo which aren't exactly known for their reliability either. I still love the hell out of it and take it to that sweet, sweet 8250 redline every chance I get.

Someday when or...if...my Bronco eventually arrives I'll drive and enjoy it like I always do and if it blows up it blows up and I'll deal with it then.

There's a great option out there for those who can't get over the worry of their Ford doing what Fords do. It's called a Toyota Camry.

Oh, and my current daily is a 6.0 with an upgraded turbo. You could say I like to live dangerously.

(and yes, it's doing 6.0 things, aka being broken)

There's no freaking way that there's 45k 2.7s roaming the streets. Lol.

Funny. I was thinking more of a 392 Rubicon. But ok. 👎🤣

Not bragging just pointing out that it’s good so far. We shall see like any new car/engine. Only time will tell, but it’s nice knowing that if something does happen, I have the extended warranty. Yeah, I had to pay extra, but I am covered.

The thing about engines is they usually go in the first thousand or two, or after a hundred or two thousand. Making it to 2 thousand is usually a pretty good sign.
