Snagged a dealer stock bronco going into production 10/3

Got a miracle call (8/11) on a BD/2.3/soft/mid that was accepted by Ford and could only choose the color. (I choose Cactus Grey) They said they got 9 randomly, but only 7 left and came to me as an auto text from the sales guy. I called him back and secured the little guy, and drove to the dealer to get the paperwork (MSRP by the way) When I got there an hour later there were 0/9 left and all spoken for.

I've read about the process of what happens when the reservation goes into production and you get the update emails/trackers/blend/Vin/etc... However this is dealer stock... What can I be expecting for when to reach out to the sales guy for updates. Like VIN, or the window sticker? I don't want to bother him. As of this morning he stated it goes into production 10/3. So call him on 10/3 for an update, or would he get the VIN/sticker to share with me a few weeks to a month earlier than 10/3?

I know I'm overly excited on this, but I've been reading on here for about a year now and feel like I could throw the question out to the group. And yes please point me to some threads too and that would be great. I did high level scanning on the threads.. I looked for Dealer stock timelines and 10/3 build week, but not finding much.

You need the VIN # when available and the dealer order #.Then you can track it.

If its scheduled then it already has a vin number. The window sticker won't come along until a week or less before build day.
