Slide-Out Tailgate Availability

Has anyone received a Bronco with the factory slide out tailgate? I know this was a 'late' MY22 accessory but some have already been scheduled for production with this option. I'd love to see photos if anyone has taken delivery.

Since it looks to be a dealer installed option, I'd like to know first impressions before I take the plunge.

Where did you see it was a dealer installed option? Last year I thought Ford indicated it would only be available installed from the factory. I would love it to be a dealer accessory though.

I had read that in a few different threads here so I could be mistaken. If so, I'd be out of luck since mine is already "built" waiting to come off the mountain.

I believe you are out of luck then. My understanding is only available from Factory, not DIO.

According to the dealer, it’s a factory only option. I can’t find any part numbers on mine.

Agreed, I wonder what makes it a factory option vs dealer install. I have a feeling someone will post a DIY install in a few months if they can get their hands on one. It’s a very cool accessory.

This is one of the options I wanted since day one. Last year I heard it was going to be an available accessory. Really stinks if it's a Factory only option.
