Looking for rock light mounting ideas. I know the usual fender liner mount but looking for other locations other than the fender liners for inspiration.

I’ve been searching for the exact same question. It seems the wheel well mounting location is more body glow then trail at the tire lighting with all the shadows. It appears that at the body in front of the rear wheels is a good spot. Much like Oldhippie has in his rock sliders, but I have SAS sliders there. I then was thinking of putting the front set behind the bumper. I would think the true intent is to see rocks as you approach them at each wheel. End of the day, I have not used them in the past, so I’m interested in what the folks that have used them have to say about the best position and intent of this lighting is.

Agree with everything you said here.
@Bird Dog Off Road installed the @Diode Dynamics rock lights in a few locations, some of which you mentioned. I am sold on the lights used. This will most likely be my path forward unless something else comes up.
