I am writing this post mainly because I am curious what the general census would be on a possible date/time of my bronco being built. Right now I’m car-less because when I first reserved in May 2021 and ordered in June 2021 they told me 8-10 weeks build time but here we all are… still…. waiting.

I am just not sure if it’s worth the wait anymore. I ordered a Wildtrak with the Lux Package and of course Sasquatch comes with it, but now towing bundle. Now lately I have been seeing the Wildtrak be the LEAST produced vehicle of them all. I wanted this vehicle so bad but with my wife having the only vehicle and now we are about to move off base… I am not sure I can do this much longer. I have a feeling it may be another 6 months at least… any thoughts?
My brother was stuck in the same situation, he had some massive GMC longbed goober on order. Not only would it cost more a month than his house payment. He went with a big bend off of a lot from Missouri. My suggestion would be this, because having only a Base 2dr the vehicle is sooooooo much fun! That If you want a bronco find one off a lot untill yours comes in, you might find that a different option or model might even be more affordable(certainly quicker). Just don't fall for all the fancy dealer bs and end up paying more for accessories that are everywhere.

I can't believe they told you that short of a build time. Dealers are nuts.

I was where you were- a second day reservation. It's frustrating waiting and waiting and wanting to give up. It took 16 months but I finally got my Bronco. I was not sure if I was even going to be excited after the long wait. But when I saw the photo on the assembly line that it was built, wow I knew it was really happening and the excitement level was off the chart. And when I got it, wow, it's exactly what I wanted and so much like my 70 and 71 Bronco I had hears ago when I was just a kid. I love the damn thing- so it's worth the wait. Get something else to drive temporarily while you wait.

Yes I am newer, I just recently made my account but have creeped around on here for some months now.
I did not know there was a back door link, I do have my reservation # but I am not sure where it is to search that.
It is very interesting how Ford production has handled this Bronco launch.
The backdoor link works for those who put their reservation in online.
Here is the link, replace the Xs with your reservation number, it will go thru a couple screens automatically, then will cue you to log on. Log on and you will see a lot more information, including if you have been scheduled.
https://www.ford.com/buy/manage.html?orderId=XXXXXXX

Once you you have a scheduling link showing...you can also find a VIN by following the instructions in this thread,
https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/thre...ks-5-30-6-27-and-7-11-7-25.41920/post-1366961

Keep in mind, some people can get bumped or be stuck with the chip holds. But, I think it would be smart to complete the WildTrak orders because of the price protection...if was the biggest bang for the buck at the time.

If you need a vehicle right away, and the used car market being so high - maybe your dealer could arrange a lease agreement to tide you over until delivery of your Bronco?

Honestly if you need a WT get something else and wait until you get pulled. Looking at build weeks and what is produced they are still on the 2020 list. If I had to guess being close to a year in res it would be late this year to early next.

Other option is drop down to a BL, etc. and hope you get it my mid to end of year. i would get what you want though, and if it was me go get a jeep/beater/something to drive for a year or so.

Honestly this sounds like a good option I like a lot of the ideas people have. This forum is great! Also I put in that back door link and this is what I am showing.

I think that is what I am going to do just wait and get something for the meantime until then.

It doesn't really matter what builds you are seeing get built at other locations - you need to go talk to your dealer and see how your build compares to others they have.. if your wildtrak has a hard top and your dealer has a lot of earlier reservations with hard tops - you will be waiting awhile. If you are a soft top with a limited number of soft tops at their location, you could get a vin at any point. It is all about your dealers allocations, and how your build compares to their other pending orders.. the easier build (ie no hard top or highly constrained items) the easier it is to get a vin. The larger dealers with a lot of orders seem to be harder to get builds. I was a June 21 reservation and I have had mine for 3 months. I was my dealer's only soft top order so I got scheduled the very first round of MY22 scheduling. I got pulled because my dealer was small with 11 total orders. So their first soft top got grabbed immediately.

If you haven't gotten a VIN or scheduled build week yet, which you haven't based on your screenshot above, you'll be hard pressed to get it within 6 months. Without making this a word vomit of possible scenarios and how I'm getting these estimates, here's how you stand.

- Absolute best case scenario in every situation. Get the next available build week, no scheduling delays, no build delays, no shipping delays...4 months before you'd see it. Less then 1% chance of this happening from what I've seen on this forum.
- Mix of good and bad scenario. Get the next available build week, no scheduling delays, but you get hit with a build and shipping delay....7/8 months before you'd see it.
- Worst case scenario. Don't get scheduled for another few months, get hit with several build week reschedules, hit with build delays, and shipping delays. Easily 12+ months before you'd see it.

Personally I feel you fall into the 7/8 month + category based off everything I've followed daily on this forum. If you need a vehicle now, waiting for your reserved Bronco isn't going to be your best option

Reserved 7/20, built in May 2022. I was bumped 3x and truly never expected my Bronco to be be built. I can now see light at the end of the tunnel.

I bought an 04’ Sport Trac XLT comfort for $2500 (Canadian) it needed $600-700 maybe worth of parts and now it drives pretty good for the age. I figured with the crazy used market, I could flip it and at least break even when my bronco shows up.

That was until a Jeep cut me off on the highway. He was so aggressive, he hit the person I was behind. Followed by me crumpling my hood on his spare tire and wiping out the headlight and bumper :( my insurance is fighting them to accept responsibility due to the fact that if he hadn’t been driving like that it wouldn’t have happened. Either way, $400 bucks, some elbow grease at the auto wreckers and a case of beer solved all damage.

Moral of the story? My daughter and myself weren’t injured, Jeep drivers suck and at least it wasn’t my Bronco he cut off lol
Glad that you and your daughter are alright, hope that insurance covers it.

Thank you, I appreciate it. I'll definitely be fighting them on it, if nothing else, so my rates don't increase. I'm not even worried about the Truck.
