Shit alternator company

The alt is the issue not the vehicle. The manufacturer failed to put a spacer behind the sheave and pressed it into the alt chassis.

The dealer didn’t call my bluff. Texted manager and Told em to push it outside with all the parts so a tow truck could hook up. By the time I hit send she was calling me saying they just got a ‘23 on the lot and they’re stripping it if an alternator. Monday it’s mine. Got dayum that’s all it took?

Well at least you have parts coming toward your bronco. I'm w/o my bronco on day 93 now, waiting on transmission. (which come off backorder April 28).

So far have owned bronco 228 days and bronco has been at shop 112 of those days.

Count your blessings

Bronco has been pretty reliable at 2k miles now, but I've still had to have the electronic parking brake replaced, looks like I have the front driveshaft issue, and of course the typical 7MT grinding sounds. At least it's better than my BMW that I've owned for 186 days and it's been in the shop for 174.
