NOT MY BRONCO.

It was just something I read in this article, and I don't remember ever seeing this mentioned here at all. It looks like Ford shipped this Bronco out with an LED tail light on one side and a standard halogen tail light on the other side. I guess that if your doing an ocd checklist at delivery, this is another thing to look at.

This is good to know. Confirms that the LED tail lights and the halogen wiring are the same and is a direct fit. I have halogen tail lights myself and was looking for a LED set to swap them out with.

OCD doesn’t seem like a requirement to detect such an obvious flaw but the Ford QC boys probably disagree

Currently a 4/11 build week with a VIN! Progress!! I would rather have the tail light mis-match than have the vehicle sent to Ice Mountain, where a dozen workers have a +3 month backlog of various flaws to fix.

I stopped by the dealer last Thursday and had them look it up. I read here from multiple posters that if you have a build date, a VIN has been issued.

i got the build date by stopping by the Dealer also. You probably need to get to know the order/computer folks.

I have only received an Order email from Ford, nothing else.

Ford really needs to get their QC under control. How can that be missed? Its garbage like this is why my daily driver is a Honda Civic. And makes me hesitate with going for a Bronco, but I decided to wait until all the bullshit settles down: price gouging(not just on the Bronco, on a lot of cars), the QC bullshit, the chip shortage and etc

Because people do weird shit for attention on the internet. I’m not saying OP did that but fake content doesnt surprise me. That’s the entire “reality tv” in a nutshell.

Eons ago I know a guy got a new Ranger (pre 2011) and like two weeks after he got it he noticed the interior door panels were different colors, IIRC one was a darker gray than it was supposed to be.

So not really unheard of.
