I knew I wanted a 2 door with 35s tires since the bronco reveal. My bronco (base trim most likely) will see mild off-roading. I know I'll never need lockers or all the other nice hardware included In the sasquatch package.

How much $$$ do you think is needed to get that sweet sasquatch look?
Any mods needed?(lift, regearing)?

If the savings are minuscule I might go for the real deal. =/

Lift, rims, tires will cost far more than buying the package from Ford. No lift exists yet, but you can figure 1300-1500 for that, about 600 or so for rims and around 1600 or so for 35" tires. Assuming you can put everything on yourself and do your own mount & balance, you'd be over the package cost right there.

I'm no expert, but what I've seen here on this, the factory upgrade is a bargain for what you get.

cheapest way would be to start w/Badlands trim. Still think $2500 to squatch a BL is nuts. From what they have told us Badlands already has the ride height.

My plan = Base with Big Bend take-offs ($500 ??) plus 285/70/17 ($1,000 ?) Hoping no lift needed. I realize not a Sasquatch look-alike, but I think it will look great and be great for what I will use it for. With Granger price I should still be under $30K.

This all I thought about with the title of this thread ? Probably just cheaper to get Sasquatch then to try to get it after you get the bronco. 35" tires/rims are not cheap by themselves.

It’s actually an incredible deal on all of the lower trims. You get way more for your money than you can even half way do after the fact.
Buy once, cry once and you’ll have the top badass factory Offroad vehicle available.
If you can afford the extra money for the Sasquatch, DO IT.........

All just my opinion.

On a Base model:

- China Mart 2.5" Spacer Lift, $200
( Theoretically based on Ford's own literature, the Sasquatch is 2" taller than a Base/BB/BD/OBX, but let's say the Base is even shorter than the others)

- Quality Spidertrax 1 1/2" thick 6x5.5 wheel spacers $220
(Just a guess at how much extra tire clearance is needed based on Jeeps.
If more than 2" extra offset is needed on the Bronco factory rims, aftermarket rims becomes mandatory)

- 315/75R16 tires, $1000 ~ $180x5 + $20 per mounted at local tire shop.
(Tires this big have been run on 16x7" rims.
It reduces tire wear life, due to the extra curved crown, but it works.)

Total cost: $1420

Shamsquatch savings over the Sasquatch ~ $3580 *at best.

Yikes to each their own but spacers are junk (and not a real lift like the Squach give you) unless you plan on simply crossing over mulch beds....IMO.

That said, here is a great review.

Quality lift, wheels and Tires probably about $5k. I don’t think we have confirmation of Sasquatch final pricing, but With axle upgrade, lockers, 4.7 gears It will be a bargain for $5k.

The wheels on the Sasquatch alone would cost $1500+ to buy aftermarket. Add in another $1500 for 5 tires installed. And then, say you can get a spacer lift to work, $600 installed for that. That's $3600 to have a Bronco that "looks" like a Sasquatch.

You will have undersized axles, under geared ratios, a worse ride(cheaper suspension), and possibly a voided factory warranty because of modifications. This doesn't even include the lockers.

If you want 35's, best to go Sasquatch from the factory.

I was looking at the same thing with Base 4 doors. Maybe just put skinny 33s on it.

The difference price for 5 33s on Base and a Big Bend (allows a locker) is only not worth it on the 4 door considering you get 32s and better (sizing) rims.

Still waffling between Bend and Base Squatch. If 2 doors was my choice I would just go Base Squatch, for about 35k out the door it rocks.

I’m looking at 255/85 on the base 16" rims, but also considering the big bend, really want the rear lockers and hoping when build and price comes out they make it an option on the base but I doubt it

The fact that the whole vehicle with the Sasquatch package can be under warranty makes it worth getting it from the factory.

I doubt much lift would be needed to clear larger tires. The issue is usually rubbing on full lock, this is the tire rubbing on the crash bar or something else in front of or behind the tire. A set of fox coil overs with 2” lift would probably clear 35s and bigger no problem. The ones on my f150 were $900, the backs were 125 each. Huge difference, stiffer at low speed awesome at high speed.
Now you have the look without the capability, no locker, no 44 up front etc.
