Two things just occurred to me regarding the second row windows on the 4-door.

1. They roll all the way down, which is great. (Obviously more important considering the doors are frameless)

2. I’m shocked no one has complained about the little triangle in the corner yet.

looks like a roof support/seal. It looks fine when closed but a bit odd opened up.

I think it's to hide the shape of the glass that is necessary allow it to roll all the way down. Look at the door it has to roll into.

Edit: pretty sure I've complained about it before.

I got to thinking about it when I realized that my Jeep achieves a full roll-down by cheating with the smaller aft stationary window.

When you’re sitting in the rear (like a peasant) the open window is actually kind of far away...

That was my initial thought, but the angle is so steep, the geometry doesn’t quite make sense.

My other half pointed out that it could be there for structural support of the glass. (In order to be short enough to roll down as far as it goes, there might not be enough glass left in the door to support it well when it’s up.)

Also, not complaining... just remarking that I’m surprised people hadn’t complained yet... but @Squatch personally claimed otherwise. :)

I think the triangle is kinda cool. most likely the triangle is there to help keep water out and Better fitment with the hard/soft top.
I'm betting the glass is cut at that angle to avoid something at the bottom of the door. Otherwise, the window wouldn't be able to fully open.

Yeah, this makes total sense... I hate to admit that it didn’t even occur to me though.

I had in my mind the Subaru thing where at the bottom of the travel the window cants forward and I couldn’t reconcile how that would work with the angle of the triangle... obviously because that’s not what’s happening.

Im a dummy.

Here’s the best pic of what I was imagining
