I have manual seats in my Badlands and as far as I can tell have the seat "lowered" it as low as it goes and it still makes it hard to see the very top of the screen because of the lip above the screen obscures it. I'm 6'0" so hardly think this makes sense. Anybody else deal with this?

I'm 6'1" and don't have an issue. My seats are manual as well and as low as they will go. I do have mine further back and not as upright as I do in my F150, I have noticed, so maybe that has something to do with it.

You must have some short legs for your height
I actually do. As a cyclist, it's been commented on before. Ford trying to make me more sensitive to this weird quirk. I don't look disproportionate but the numbers don't lie...

I try messing around a bit with it...

Not sure that this helps you or not, but it took me a long time to find the seat position that I was comfortable with.

I tried the spacer trick to tilt the seat back some - that helped, but didn't quite do it.

Instead, what ended up working was counter-intuitive. I ended up moving the seat up quite a bit more, and then forward to adjust. I'm not quite at the top but near it on the up/down range of travel.

Completely different than how I normally have seats set in a pickup truck, but it seems to work for me.

Hate to say it but I'm with OP. I'm 5'-11", don't have short legs, seat all the way down and I noticed in my son's 2024 with the 12" screen, yes a tiny bit is covered by the lip.

The only thing I can think of (and trying to find a non-banning way to say this) is that most of you sit like a bunch of gang bangers, seat tilted way back, probably lean 6" to the right and are good to go. Which would also mean your pants probably hang half off your ass as well. But for us normal people who sit more upright, yes the screen is ever so slightly blocked.

I'm 6'4" the top half inch of my screen is cut off and stop lights can be questionable.

Silver lining... never have to use the sun visors, which I am told can be removed to improve visibility.

It is harder with kids in the back, I usually have to lean more vertical and move the seat forward. Riding solo, I do move the seat most of the way back and add a little "gangsta lean", but no more than my daily driver F250.

Honestly, I do feel the seats sit a bit too high and wish they could be lowered about an inch.

I'm 5'10" with no issues visually or operationally, but I don't have the 12" dash screen.

Although I dislike the forward leaning headrests built for hunchbacks, and I'm planning to try and bend the headrest posts to allow for a less head thrust forward seating.

You should congratulate me for losing the weight! Also I found as I get older my butt cheeks don’t quite hold my jeans up like they used to.

I've always hated the lip... never seen this mentioned on this site, so I thought it was just me. Need a mod!
