looking to add leather "type" seat covers to my HE

did a search on Instagram and now I'm bombarded with ads

Coverland USA has some nice ones, but there is an overwhelming amount out there

suggestions will greatly be appreciated

I went with Wet Okoles on my Heritage . Light gray with a light blue piping matches Azure Grey nicely. Didn't want leather in the summer a FBI still feel my heated seats.

I did the Mabbett leather seat covers in our '23 and the driver seat got very shiny in less than year so I would avoid those. We traded it in last month and the dealer removed them immediately before listing it. For a Heritage the Carhartt covers might look good, not leather but if you don't want to go full replacement.

Be careful if you have HEATED seats. I did not know till I bought the OEM front seat covers to only learn (no fine print anywhere at the time of purchase) that they are NOT FOR HEATED SEATS.

As an old biker who has referred to the wife as a 'seat cover', I don't think she'd appreciate me out looking at alternative recommendations.

I will say about the Mabett -- for the price they fit very well. Mine have held up for almost 2 years now. They don't look perfect, they aren't Katzkin quality - but they aren't Katzkin price either.

They fit very well - many people think I just have factory MGV at first glance.

For what I spent on them - much less than a lot of the Amazon options, I'm not unhappy with them. I won't go saying they are a high quality option - that certainly isn't the case, but for ~$250 they are a steal. I don't expect they will last the life of the Bronco, but if I can get another year or two out of them I'd be estatic.

Agreed about the Mabett seat covers, they fit and have held up well for the price, no one seems to notice they are aftermarket covers. I had planned to remove them for winter, in favor of the warmer stock fabric, but they've worked so well I'm not bothering.

Yes I agree fit and price are great I just didn't like how different the driver seat looked from the passenger seat after just one year. The leather seems to have a matt texture and after use gets shinny/glossy. Are yours still matt?

Ooo good question. My driver side one is definitely a bit more polished than the others, but I don't think I'd call mine a matte finish in the first place, and it isn't overly noticable.

I had all black and it was really noticeable, not sure matt is the right word but I saved the center console cover and it feels rough not smooth like my MGV seats if that makes sense.

Good chance Mabett has changed the materials some over time

For me, its the body oils that make the fake leather seat covers shiny. A light degreaser or APC will knock it back to matt. I find a leather cleaner works best to return some of that moisture to the material without going overboard like leather conditioner does..

Been running Mabett seat covers for 3 years now full time.
