I wondered why my buddy had a plastic thing on the drivers belt to hold it in one position.

Is there a prize in the auto industry given for most vehicle recalls in a year or something? Seems ford is stumbling over themselves to grab that trophy.

Recalls be damned…I still want my damn Bronco….built it already Ford!!!!

That is the stupidest recall ever..."folks won't wear their seat belts because they're too difficult to reach..." NTHSA doesn't have anything more important to do?

Once again, Team 2-Door FTMFWMF!

As recalls go "hard to reach" is the dumbest one I can think of.

It's not like they might fail.

My Bronco has been in the dealer for 3 weeks for this recall and they have not done anything yet, just, as they tell me, I have to wait for them to have time for this repair.

that’s a poor excuse for them. Literally takes one min.

This recall is insane. I tested all seat positions and the latch is easier to operate than any other vehicle I have owned. The people at NHTSA must be bored. You don't have to do the recall. Black helicoptors aren't going to show up at your house and take you away if you don't do it, at least not yet.

Wut? I have the four door, and there's no issue with the seatbelt. Have not had any difficulty latching it.

It's not a recall about the latching itself, it's about where the latch is located when you get in--prior to buckling up. They say if people have to "fish" for the latch between the seat and the B pillar, they're more likely not to wear it.. The clip they are adding moves the latch up higher so it's "easier" to get at reaching over your left shoulder.
