Hey everyone,

The 12” screen in my Bronco won’t turn off. I have the doors off, car off, and the screen refuses to turn off. It’s been over an hour

Anyone having this issue? If so, any fix?

I’ve had this problem with other Ford products. Might dry disconnecting/reconnecting the battery to give it a good reset.

Does the screen normally stay on when someone is in the driver seat? Could be an occupant sensor issue.

Does it go off when doors are back on? Could be a door removal procedure issue. I have not removed my doors but have read enough threads that you can't vary even one step in removing or you get all kinds of warnings going off.

And as suggested. For whatever reason the vehicle is under the impression that the doors are on but open.

Look for the thread about the diy bypass switch

If you start it, does it give you the standard warning about the door not being connected or all the airbag and other errors that show up when it thinks the door is connected but it really isn't. If you get all the errors, the grounding pin isn't working on some door and may need to throw some sand paper in there to clean it up or manually short:
