These look interesting. Also look like they make the valve stem significantly less accessible.

Put my name in for Hot Pepper Red if you're considering a run of those. I've tried different Race Red accessories and the shade is just too far off my HPR body for me to use.

It might look that way because of the different shape and how thick they are, but the inside profile where the valve stem sits is very similar to the stock ring. We made several different designs during the R&D process and took them wheeling, airing down and filling back up, and settled on this design over others partly based on that specific issue. This was one of the early designs that we liked visually, but made access too difficult.

If you start making them to match velocity blue I’ll have to consider them.

We're definitely open to adding more colors in future production runs. We have to do several hundred parts in a given color though which makes it hard to do very specific custom colors. White is one I'm considering though.

I'm doing my best to keep track of requests so the more people who ask for any certain color the more likely we'll make it!
My chick would love hot pink/magenta

Thanks for all the orders everyone! If you haven't gotten yours yet, we've still got plenty in stock!

So I got the rings and am out wheeling with them for the first time and the valve stem access is way worse. The factory beauty rings are notched where the valve stem sits, it's not perfect but it's far less in the way. As they are they're accessible but much more of a pain in the ass.

Otherwise they're great. Good color matching, nice and robust design. But I think you should definitely try and add a cutout for the valve stem.

So I got the rings...

Thanks for the feedback. Out of curiosity what type of Chuck are you using? My trail compressor has a straight clip on style end and I don't find it to be any trouble at all. This is something that we looked at, IIn fact that was one of the issues that took one of the preliminary designs out of the running.

Here's my morrflate attached. It's pretty annoying as the the locking sleeve gets caught on the edge of the ring and you have to use your other hand to get the valve stem lined up. They also had free air at the trailhead with a ball end. That was annoying because it barely fit once fully seated. So you needed to angle both the valve stem and fitting under the ring and have them meet properly. But the floating button on the ball end kept sliding out of position and I think it bent one of my valve cores. It's not the end of the world, but we lost a bead today and it was just one more annoyance on the trail. I'd rather a small cut out like the stock rings and not have to fiddle with it.

On the brightside the system works! I only need to replace one section of the rings.

Ahh ok, I see now. That's a pretty bulky inflator so I can see that being an issue for sure. Thanks for the pictures. Glad you're using them how they were intended!

So we now have a solution for those of you who are using big bulky inflators like this, or for when you're at a gas station or other place where the fitting might be difficult to use. We've had great luck with the straight clip on style chucks, so we simply put together an extender that brings the valve out away from the wheel entirely, enabling you to use any air chuck with ease.
