I ordered a Badlands 2 door without the Sasquatch package. I wanted it but did not feel like waiting (ordered a manual) and realized there were different wheels and tires I wanted more in the aftermarket. Anyone in the same boat here? Not too sure what I might do with suspension, wheels and tires in the aftermarket...

Same boat but I'm getting a 4 door. No idea what suspension I'll be going with yet but I'm aiming for 37" Ridge Grapplers. I don't want to take a chance on the GY Territories and I know I can sell the KO2s pretty easily.

Same but BL already has the squatch suspension and height. I believe all you need to do is change tires

4.7 ring gear is all you need which is already on the Ford part list.

I’m pretty sure the suspension and 4.7 is the same. But yes the smaller fenders, which i do prefer

Right...so it's not 4.7 without the package. That's the point. hellahella thought all you need to change is the tires, and it's quite a bit more. afaict there is a lift with squatch as well. Badlands have the Bilstein's but not the lift?

I did BL non sasquatch. IF the squatch is lifted slightly more I don't care. I didn't want the expense of just the wheels and tires that I think are too wide. I also really like the BL wheels, and if need be put a slightly taller tire on when the time comes. Sasquatch on a BL is still a big chunk of $$$, I like the BL wheels, don't like the Sasquatch extra wide flares, and don't want the wider tires.

And maybe a slight improvement in delivery not getting the sasquatch that the majority seems to be getting. I hope Ford has an entire container ship of the sasquatch wheels on the way.

4.7 comes standard with MT as stated in his build.

Exxxxxxxxxactly.

Squatch on a MT badlands is just wheels/tires and wider fender flares. Possibly including $30 in altered bumpstops.

I'd be willing to make a gentleman's wager of a crisp, $1 note that the aftermarket will have options for all three, and they can be had for less than $2,500.

PS: I already price shopped steelies and came in under $550 for a set of 5. That just leaves tires and fender flares for ~$2K..... Something tells me I can cut 1/2" off the bump stops for less than 3 beers.

Am I correct that the Squatch also adds the electronic locking front and rear axles? I don't think that is standard on the BL.
