San Tan screwed me again

Dropped my Bronco off for the 69$ "works" which is oil change and tire rotation.

Out of the blue, and without telling me first, they charged me $50 to rotate the tires. I swear, sleaziest dealership in town.

It's supposed to be. But apparently it doesn't include 5 tires any longer.

Maybe it is just light weight tires....like a minivan....Not two person lift Bronco tires. LOL.

FWIW, with my new 2024 purchase, I elected for their service package which is oil/filter, tire rotation & complete vehicle inspection. For the price, it ends up costing $54.50 each service. Maybe check w/ your Ford dealer & ask about the 5th tire rotation, to see if they'll work it in...??

I’ve had my oil changed at San Tan a few times and every time I ask them to do a 5-tire rotation they throw it in. Pretty sure I was never charged for it, and if I was it was very minimal and not $50.

I'll just go to a different Ford dealer that's not as Sleazy. Possibly the one I bought it from.

Hell, I'd have been happier if they just rotated 4. I could have swapped the spare with the right rear myself.

The published rate is $69.99 (Motorcraft semi-synthetic) plus tax and disposal. Normally comes to $80 plus or minus a buck. Came out to $117 this time.

Lesson learned. I can do a full synthetic for less, and apparently Discount will rotate your tires for free, even if they are factory rubber.

Main reason I went to the dealer is I wanted it documented that the headliner is coming unglued. Now another dealer will get that sweet warranty labor.

I think it depends how the advisor enters into the system. Ive had a few variances on mine but not enough to worry about.

Im not sure how true this may be but I was told by my dealer that if you start a warranty claim at 1 dealer you cant go to another about the same concern. I never did contact another dealer to see for sure.

Based on their sales dept (I would NEVER buy from them), I'd avoid them at all costs.
