Picked up a used Raptor. I have a feeling I have a boost leak. I get no boost until I really punch it after 4k RPM’s. Is this normal? Zero psi at all the way up to 4k!? I thought the ProCal would wake it up and nothing. Decided today to check the boost finally. With the procal tune ford says 536 Foot pounds at only 3k rpm. Please do post your psi readings at 3-4k RPM’s. Just hard for me to believe this is normal

Doesn’t sound normal. The Ecoboost engines are usually pretty boost happy and will kick up at every opportunity they get.

I take it you’ve already inspected the intake and charge hoses for a slipped hose or crackled line? Next suspect after that would be stuck open wastegate.

I’d be surprised if it’s a boost leak. These things are usually closely monitored by the PCM.
If you had a large enough boost leak to cause no boost before 4K RPM, it would throw an underboost DTC

It was the procal tune. The boost would only be seen when you floored it at almost any rpm range. Even going up hill. Went back to stock and it now has boost at much lower rpm’s. All the procal tune did for me was shut off the turbo’s and only relied on the engine alone for normal driving. My dealer told me that it’s possible I had a corrupt file transfer when they did it. But after 3 weeks of and back forth to 2 dealers I am done. Now I have a $1000 procal tune that the dealer own’s (they used there email to log in…) that just sits in the garage and I can’t sell! Wonderful ford to sell a product that you can’t reflash and sell.

This is between you and the dealership. Credit card chargeback is also an option.
