Round 2 2024 Wildtrak!

So couple of weeks ago I bought a HPR 2023 Wildtrak. Drove it home and noticed it was really rough at 75-80 mph. Took it back thought maybe tires were out of balance. Turns out the dealer they traded had wrecked it and it needed a whole new rear end due to the right rear wheel being toed in. I chose to pass on that one. Even with a new rear end I want every squeak and rattle to be a bronco thing and not a “wreck” thing. The 2024 came in today and I picked her up. Excited to have her and get to customizing. I’ve got bronco letters and a bull bar coming tomorrow. My jugglers are gonna have to go back as they don’t fit the sas fender flares. But here it is in all its glory “Tabasco”

That’s great to hear. Did the dealer take back the first one or how did they agree to buy it back?

It was only day 2. And they just agreed to tear up the paperwork and work with the dealer they got it from. It was also a new 23. I agreed on the 24.

Congrats on the new bronco. I am in the same boat--just got a '23 Wiltrak in green.

You lucked out that they took the Bronco back. Did they source the '23 from OK or AR? I saw a '23 pepper red in AR that was heavily discounted, like 11k off...a bit suspicious but maybe it was legit and someone got a killer deal. Glad you ended up with a good one.

Anecdotally I tried doing a return of a Rivian R1S the next morning after paying for it in advance...upon driving it home (no test drive given) I found all sorts of fit and finish issues. They told me they canceled their long-standing 7-day return policy a few weeks earlier and that I can go pound sand. That's one of the benefits of working with a dealer I guess!

yes ive been a customer for a long time with this dealership and they were really great to work with.

ive got a bullbar coming in today and mudflap ive got to exchange for something thatll fit. then im looking at some stripes and then some lights for the front and some D rings as well.
