Any real word feedback and/or comparisons? They both have bumpers I like. Just wondering who’s quality and customer service is better.

I purchased a DV8 front bumper because I liked the way it looked. I then added additional structural supporting in the bumper and changed the mounting. So if you can fabricate additional support the DV8 is great

Howdy
Just like to say that this isn’t my bronco but one I see frequently walking across campus. This guys got a front DV8 bumper and I think the design looks great but the outcome doesn’t look so great, it’s got rust on the surface and just doesn’t look like solid steel. Comparing to my Bronco and another individual aftermarket bumpers where they just look more solid. Almost like I could run through a cement wall. The green bronco with the oil spill is the of the dv8. The DV8 front bumper just looks structually weak in my opinion.

I have had no problems with rust, construction is fine. I have a winch bumper so I added additional structural integrity to the bumper and the mounting.

Love my DV8 spec series bumper. JKS max tire kit also.

I'm pro DV8, rear bumper has nice welds, good quality and the powder coating still looks good.

I stay away from RC bcuz I've seen too many posts stating the finish is garbage n parts a rusting within weeks...

Rough Country... eh... mixed feelings.

Their prices are great and their customer service is decent in my experience. BUT... there is definitely a relationship between the quality and price.

I've had several issues with Rough Country products. Customer services has always taken care of it, so it's never been an issue. But when stuff falls apart my reaction is usually "eh... well... it was almost half the cost of the other one I was looking at, so I guess I shouldn't be surprised".

---

No real experience with DV8 Off-road. I do have their fire extinguisher mount, and honestly it's fine. But no bumpers or anything major.

I have the DV8 Front and Rear Spec Series bumper. Couldn't be happier with both of them. The approach angle difference is amazing. Quality of the powder coat and manufacturing is great as well. I am fortunate that their main facility is here in Arizona where I live. Though DV8 is their imported line where ADD is manufactured here in town, I feel confident that their build quality is solid. Having toured the facility and seeing how they are so integrated with ADD, DV8, Rago and Flatline Van gives me extra confidence. I am also happy that DV8 and the rest of the team is very invested in being part of the off-road community. They have been out on trails with us here in AZ as well. They really put their stuff to the test.

I do not run their bumpers, but, lol, I have plenty of other DV8 gear. The crash bar covers, inner fender liners, rear tire carrier, and accessory have held up very nicely.

DV8 MTO V2 front bumper and Spec series rear bumper. I had MTO V1 first and held up well but, like any steel, you scratch them, they will start to rust. I’ve been happy with all DV8 products and I have front and real wheel well liners, rear storage compartment, various skid products.

I have no real experience with either, but saw a DV8 front bumper after a crash and it looked like pretty thin steal that ”crumpled“ up pretty good…do have their rear plate holder and it is ok but a little crooked…never had any Rough Country stuff just because of bad feelings (did get their steering rack bushings but swapped to hd rack soon after)…party on…
