Sure enough- touching to the battery, no lights. Of course, I shoulda done that first, but was overly eager to get it all hooked up. Took me several hours.Just checking - you do have Key On right?
Also, check the light just by taking it straight to the battery - can just touch it to positive terminal and make sure it comes on.
I hate those crimp butt splices, unless you have the proper tool for them (and high quality splices) they are mostly junk. I usually end up soldering for wire splices, but I admit I've used Wagos as well for connections where I want to be able to disconnect. I should use Deutsch connectors, and I have a set, just been lazy and the wagos seem to do well in non-weather areas once they are taped up.
