Good evening folks,

I have a 2023 Badlands that I am trying to get these Pod lights installed. They came with a switch and a relay, I have it all wired in but want to use my Aux 2, which J believe the be the green wire. The question is: How do I wire the harness onto the green? If the harness has 3 wires. Do I eliminate the relay? Any info that could help finish this up would be greatly appreciated.

(1st post btw)

Well that's a switched harness, not designed for the upfitters. You'd need to cut the harness apart or use the upfitter as your relay trigger.

Better yet, just buy our harness. Our ditch light kits include our harness but since you have the lights already:

Plugs right into the lights and then the other end goes to the upfitter

@mikeridI I found a post similar with the same harness and someone had 2 options how to wire it. I ended up taking the switch off and running the black cable to the ground and the blue cable to the AUX3 (green/brown) wire. This is a 10 amp wire or so I've read and the harness comes with a 15amp fuse and a relay, given that I thought it be more than safe running in there and saving the 2 bigger cables for a heavier application.

Thanks for the help, I greatly appreciate it.
