Replacing OEM fog lights

Hello,
I am in the processes of replacing my "capable" bumper with a modular bumper.
My bumper has the OEM fog lights and i would like to replace those with a new set for the modular bumper.
Do after market fog lights come with matching OEM wire harnesses or do I need to splice the OEM wire harness?

Depends where u buy.
My lights came with just +- leads. ground one, other ties to aux switches. Pretty much plug n play

I don't know where you'd plug a harness into. Others will def know more

I have no plans for the capable bumper. I removed the license plate holder and noticed some scuffs on it as well.

I think i understand maybe, you have the fog lights on your light switch, so you probably have fog lights attached to a harness .

I don't have that so I'm not that familiar. But i would think either you can buy lights with a harness to plug into your harness, or cut all harness and wire directly, or cut the harness off your capable lights and put on your new lights to plug in

My lights are connected to aux switches, you want to connect to your light switch?

I changed out my stock capable fogs for these Diode Dynamic fogs and just ordered the kit with a wiring harness. They were plug and play and were right on the light switch. If you wanted to add optional daytime running light, you had to to extra Aux switch, but it’s not necessary. Here’s the link:

Pretty sure they have a similar version that fits modular bumper and has the plug and play adapter too.

Thanks. I’m actually in Canada but I have a sister in the San Diego area. I thought if you were close we could make something work, but that might be a bit too far for her.
