My horn is no longer a dual tone and now only sounds the high-horn. So, I'll need to replace it. I'm willing to do this myself. Otherwise, to the dealer it goes.

Anyone have the OEM part number for the horn?

I was in a front, passenger side collision in February and just got my Bronco back a couple weeks ago. I noticed the difference in the horn sound immediately. Made me wonder if the horn was damaged but not repaired. Based upon what I’m seeing here, it may just be that Ford’s bean counters think the Eco Sport horn will suffice. Bummer. It sounds ridiculous coming from a vehicle like this.

Hope everyone was okay from the accident.
I reco you take it back in. My dealer confirmed and replaced the broken horn. Of course, they ordered the wrong part and had to reschedule the R&R but eventually it was done within a few days.

Appreciate the tip. Will definitely check it out with the dealer when I’m back there for an oil change.

Everybody was fine in the crash. Ford Focus blew a red light and I hit their front passenger quarter panel. Really thankful it wasn’t in the driver’s door, as the height of the bronco bumper would have been at shoulder level. 😬

I'm considering disconnecting mine, to eliminate the double honk. I use it "in anger" maybe once every few years and seldom to any positive result.

My 2c.
There are two of them and the process for doing that includes removed the fender and grill just FYI. Might be MUCH easier to code it out using ForScan yourself or with someone locally.
