So I have had my bronco for a week now and got my first booboo. Still not familiar with the dimensions (coming from a wrangler). I was reversing at the hospital parking lot and completely didnt see the pillar on my passenger side. Luckily only the mirror was slightly damaged. No damage to the mirror arm (thank good) still work perfectly. Only cosmetic damage. Would be fine taking off the cover. Trying to glue the crack back and then somehow removing the white paint. Any ideas from those with experience Please share. The advice is much appreciated. Thank you broncofam in advance.

Maybe goo gone to remove the paint followed up with some type of soap or cleaner to remove the oil residue from the goo gone?

91% alcohol, finger nail in a micro fiber. Or some steel wool. 000 or 0000 would be my first go at it. Maybe even a little heat, hair dryer or heat gun.

First off, thank you all for the advice. I was at Home Depot today and figured I would show the paint guy the same photo I put in the OP. He took a look and then said follow me (to the back of the paint aisle). Handed me this and said "spray it onto the hard side of a sponge and rub it over the paint, dont press too hard, it will come off, then wash down the surface with some water". It worked perfectly. Cheers!!!

Pix or it didn’t happen!
If you look close enough you can still see the crack at the bottom. I can't fix that without changing the entire mirror housing. Ford dealer in Glendale quoted me at $1400 (clearly overpriced). I found some online for about $900. Not worth it, since everything is still working perfectly fine (floor light, front light, blind spot warning, and camera). If it gets worse down the line, I will replace the entire arm but for now it seems a bit premature. Cheers!!!
