Removing Antenna?

I want to temporarily remove my antenna to put a car cover on the Bronco. I tried unscrewing it, but i didn't want to force it. Any tips on getting it off?

Mine just unscrewed by hand. I took it off to install a stubby, but I might take that off and just do a delete. I don't listen to regular radio anymore.

Maybe a little wd 40 to loosen. Just unscrews.

Unless you’re turning it the wrong way, there is no forcing it.
