I picked up one of the single piston versions of the maxi trac off of Amazon and it works really well. It has the same issues as the dual piston but I plan on some mods to it. I still wanna get the dual piston version.
I went to vegas back in February. Expect a lot of fun. The provided meals were actually pretty good. There is more higher speed dirt road driving than there is rock crawling but once you get down into the wash it's a whole lot of fun. The instructors were really good and very knowledgeable...
My badlands isn't sasquash and I find I have hit my rear lower control arm mounts in the front. Can't wait to get my lift and tires. Where was the video taken at? Looks like a fun trail. Good luck with the sale of your sliders. I'm sure someone will grab them up for that price
Nice install. Nearly the exact same thing I did. I mounted mine a little further back and is behind the window switches. No one even knows they are there.
I've got the JCR rear molle panels with a mymedic first aid kit, hatch light, hidden gmrs radio, archetype racing byod rail, and self made tool kit in mine with more to come
Here is a pic. This is just where I mounted mine when I made my set up. Keep in mind I did not buy from them. I have a thread that shows the parts I used.
I tapped into the cigarette lighter outlet wiring. It has power for an hour after the ignition is off. I tied the 2 lights together up near the top of the glass. There is a single connection to unplug to take the top off.
This is the one I used but isn't available right now. I paid 25 dollars each for 2 of them. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B07JZ6WTLZ?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title
Drilling the hole is probably for the switch. When I installed my switch I drilled into the removable piece that hides the soft top mounting point. Should be easy and cheap to replace if needed
I'd try getting ahold of Mitchell watts from town and country on youtube. He did a very similar setup. I know there is a grommet on the drivers side firewall.
