Hello,
I tried the remote start for the first time today. I was wondering how I turn on the heat remotely but found that it does it automatically. So what does it do when it's hot out and you do a remote start? Is it smart enough to turn the AC on? Or do you still get heat or maybe get nothing?
Thanks.

Go into the infotainment settings. You can either pick automatic (where it adjusts temperatures based on ambient temperature) or you can put it on last setting (which sets the climate control to whatever you left it on before turning the vehicle off)

IIRC the "ambient" threshold is approx. 72*. If above that, it will turn on cooling, if below that, it will turn on heating.

Yes, it is smart enough to kick the AC on, works great, use it all the time.
