A lot of us have been through this and have had the same experience. If you get a VIN that is huge 👍🏻. It may not populate in any tracker or even Ford Customer service. None of the most current info is in synch at any given moment.

This is the hard part - patience…….extreme patience.

What can you do in the meantime ? Save cash……build up the “down” payment to be just above MSRP including taxes expected. In the end this is the ONLY thing you can control 😎

Is it worth it in the end ? Absolutely 👍🏻
I just called the sales manager and he said that they saw the VIN in their system and in the freight system and then it was gone. He said they've seen it before and then all of sudden the vehicle shows up on the lot and they never knew it was actually coming. Maybe there is hope.

He did pull up my order and sent me the latest DORA and it now has a priority code of 2. He believes that this means its about to go into production
I don't think that is correct. Priority code 02 is set by Ford and is a form of previewing, ie looking at your build to determine if the parts are available and if so it will then be considered for scheduling, not production.

Well, you just crushed the little hope I had.

Has anyone else had this happen to them?

I got an email last week stating my Bronco Badlands (July 2021 order) was scheduled for production the week of April 24th and included a VIN number. In the email, it has a link to track the status and still today it says it is invalid when I enter my order number and the VIN. I talked to my dealership and they still show mine as being unscheduled. They are contacting their rep to investigate and what they told me today, but not finished researching is that there is a glitch in their system regarding my bronco and they are seeing if the VIN number that I was provided with is actually the bronco for my order.

I know people have waited longer, but when you get that email saying it's going to be built, you get so excited so if this isn't actually mine, it's such a bummer.
Exact same thing happened to me. no resolution or answers. Sorry for us both

The sales manager at my dealer said that he's seen this before and it's weird and impossible to explain but when this happens, they end up having the car show up on their lot randomly and they had no idea it was coming. He basically said don't give up all hope but sadly I can't confirm or deny if its truly coming

That is encouraging, at least. Ford is a customer service MASTER (not).

My tracking started working today, but just shows it as "order confirmed". It does show the VIN and order number and the build is correct. I'm supposedly scheduled for production next week so fingers crossed it happens.

The link in the scheduled for production email did not work in the Chrome browser for me. I stopped getting the "Please enter a valid Ford Order/VIN" message, but nothing else, so I tried it on my iphone (Safari) and got the tracking info. It just says order confirmed but I hoping that when it actually goes into production it will update. If your using Chrome open the link in a new incognito window and that works as well. Everything that I read/heard both here and from Ford CS says that if you got the VIN it is scheduled and it will be produced. Keep the faith!

I guess we'll see what happens but I can say that even doing incognito mode, it still has the same message.

Well that sucks! Can they F* with you any worse than this? I guess I should consider myself lucky that my scheduling email was sort of correct. I received an email on Tuesday saying that my production date had changed consistent with what the tracker had been telling me, moving it out 5 weeks.

I got the same email that my scheduling email was a mistake today. @Ford literally could not have bungled this any worse.
