Just took delivery of my soft top with the prep kit. Was trying to wash my windshield by turning the stalk (before I found the button on the end). My question is have I sprayed a ton of washer fluid inside the rear panels? Or is the line capped or something until I put a hardtop on?

Following. LOL.

I have only done that once and did not notice any washer fluid in the back, but I did not really look either. It does have the fitting where it connects, but I am not sure if that is a drain, a cap or how it works.

Not gonna spray. If you don’t see a flooded cargo area, you’re good

The washer nozzle is plugged into a cap in the trunk area. The pressure isn't enough to spray around the o-rings that are part of the hose nozzle.

The connector on the back has a valve like an air hose. Nothing will come out without the proper fitting connected. The little nub it hooks to is not long enough to open the valve.
