Does anyone know why the side camera and non side camera Bronco's have different part numbers for the rear tire carrier. I searched the forums and I see that the part number is different. I am trying to find a non-sas with side cam tire carrier to no avail.

M2DZ-7847076 is the part number. Add letters below for different versions.

-G: non-sas, no side cam
-J: non-sas, with side cam
-E: sas, no side cam
-K: sas, with side cam

Doesn't help that the sticker on the carrier says M2DB-S47076-BK

I cracked my tire carrier, the camera and the housing are good. It seems like the only ones I can find on ebay are the non side cam version.

The cameras are different depending on if you have the 360 camera system or not.

The variant you are looking for is in-stock (M2DZ-7847076-J) and can be ordered from your dealer's parts counter.

You might be able to also buy the non-side cam version and swap the cameras out. I don't know if the lens is integrated into the camera or the carrier, but you something you can potentially look into.

Doesn't help that the sticker on the carrier says M2DB-S47076-BK
That's an engineering part number.
  • Service Part Number - The part number you'd use to order it from the service department
  • Engineering Part Number - The part number used for internal engineering, assembly, etc.
Dealers have access to a database where they can punch in an engineering part number and get back the correct service part number.
