Rear Splash Guards and Rock Rails?

I know about the issues with the front splash guards ( Part No: M2DZ16A550AA ) and the rock rails. But the product info for the rear splash guards says the same thing (not compatible with rock rails). But the rock rails are only BETWEEN the wheels, right? It shouldn't have any impact on the rear splash guards, should they?

If anyone has installed rear wheel splash guards on a Bronco with rock rails, I would love to know if any cutting/trimming was required for the rear splash guards
