Good Afternoon,

I am trying to figure out the best way to go about my current sound system on a 2022 Ford Bronco Badlands, no B&O and no factory Sub.

My main objective is to give more power/volume to the rear speakers

Current Set up:

- Replaced all Speakers with Kicker KS
- Rear speakers replaced to 6.5" Kicker KS
- Kicker key 200 installed in the front of the vehicle
- Kicker HS10 installed in the trunk.

Is there a way to just tap into the rear speakers and add an amp or would I have to redo the whole system?

Thank you in advance for your help.

The quick answer to your question is yes, you can just tap the back speakers.

The longer answer - your Kicker 200 ~probably~ already runs to the back speakers, or at least, it has the capability to do so. You may just be able to adjust the gain for Ch B on the 200.4 and get what you want.

Yeah, this was my thought.

Unless you explicitly rewired the kick panels and dash speakers, your 200.4 is probably already powering the rear pods.

I can barely hear them, I’ve unlocked and ran them through Forscan as well. Thought it may be better to separate them just not sure how lol.

If you used one of the aftermarket harness kits to connect the Kicker key, the amp is definitely hooked up to the rear. 50 watts RMS should be plenty loud for your rears unless you need the neighborhood to hear you.

1. To get the obvious out of the way:
-doublecheck that both speakers are connected with proper polarity
-reset balance and fade on radio
-do you have bass blockers installed? You'll obviously lose volume the higher Hz you go.
-did you set Forscan to "speaker" in the rear?

2. On the amp:
-make sure your DIP switches are set properly. See page 2 of this thread: https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/how-to-amp-install-kicker-key-200-4.70298/
-The "Radio Detect" dip switch impacts the input signal, so try both ways to see if it makes a difference
-adjust your gain knobs
-check your hi-pass filters (i set mine to 80 Hz)
-if you used the auto setup with the mic, touch the button to deactivate it. You can also reset it (I think) by holding the button down for 5 seconds.

3. Not sure what you did to get signal to your powered sub, but you might want to disconnect it while troubleshooting to eliminate that as a variable.

Hmmm… I think I set mine to speaker / tweeter. Just “speaker” is better?
No, won't make any difference to the sound quality.

You need to play with the Kicker 200 - that's I think where your problem is.

It’s one plug n play harness that connected everything together.

The real question is how good do you want it to sound, and what are you willing to spend
