Are the rear pods the same on a wildtrack and a raptor? I have an extra set from my wildtrack and could load them to replace the pods that came in my raptor.

Another question, infinity 407s or 4032s (same specs'4032s are almost 1/2 price) vs hertz dcx. I don't know if I will go the mobridge route ( I may), but I may just change the speakers.

So far the B&O system is better than I thought it would be. So at first I'll just change the 4 Inch speakers.

Thank you

2021-2024 is the same. 2025 Broncos have upgraded rear pods speakers, but they are the same size.

I used Infiniti 407’s in the rear pods and in the dash. I backed them all up with white speaker insulation and lined the dash speaker grills with speaker filter cloth. Used Memphis Mojo 6.5 in the kicker panels and the stereo system came alive. 407s are the newer version. I would go with those.

Are you running the B&O?
I'm leaning to the 4032s (same as 407 (crutchfield sku vs amazon)), I've read good things about the mojos.

Thanks

Both the 4032s, and the 407’s are 3 ohms which makes them both more efficient than your Stock speakers which are 4 ohm. I used the 407s because they were recommended by another forum member that knows a lot more about sound systems than I do. The 407 is just a newer/ upgraded model of the 4032. I guess the choice is yours.

Crutchfield says they do not fit the Bronco - mistake on their part or did you need to mod something?

Which ones are they saying that didn’t fit? I needed adapter plates for the Memphis Mojos, but all I had to do for the 407’s was to nip a tab or two.

The 407s but if that's all I'm not worried. I don't want to futz with amps, so I'm looking for highly efficient and more clarity - if possible to get both.

Do they blend well with the Mojos?

4032's are a nice 4", and work well with factory amp - but you need to protect them from dust and dirt.

Not a huge concern in the rear pods, but in the dash where they are facing upward with open speaker grill above them, dirt loved to get into the voice coil and it would jam the speaker up. I had to pull them and blow them out pretty much anytime I went off roading with the top down. I eventually put some speaker cloth over the backside of the dash grill, and that helped a good bit.

I did eventually sell my 4032's off and upgraded to Morels, but honestly the difference in quality wasn't huge (although the price was), the Infinities sounded pretty good for a low cost speaker.

You will have to nip two tabs for the rear pods on the 407’s and one or two for the center dash speaker to let that PowerPoint slip back in. I used 1 inch thick, white speaker insulation that definitely helped a lot behind all the speakers.

I nipped the two opposing tabs on the rear pods and only had to nip one or two for the center – dash speaker to clear the PowerPoint for reinsertion. The 1 inch white speaker insulation really helped, and I used it behind every speaker, including the Mojos. The Mojo’s gave me great base upfront. You will have to remove the inner collar/cone on your kick panel speaker grills to clear the face of the new speakers there. I used a flat soldering gun to cut that off, but you might be able to use a multi tool. I did not upgrade my amp or subwoofer. The improvement was noticeable and I was impressed. Because the three dash speakers were co-axles, I glued speaker cloth to the inside of them because dust will settle and eventually interfere with the inner cone movement.

Crutchfield will state that any speaker that does not have "breakable tabs" will NOT fit. Snip the tabs they fit perfectly.
