So, anyone smarter than me - how do we expect something like this to hold up? I'm now three days post warranty expiration and planning for the apparently inevitable. This looks really nice, and it if extends a spiderwebbed MIC's life, it sounds great.

I'm in the same place, and debating it - is the MIC covered by the Premiumcare extended plan? I have no cracks I've noticed yet, but the replacement cost is so high I'm worried. I live in a very hot area.

Dumb question: does the sound deadening help with road noise, audio system noise/clarity, or both? I'm not planning on an audio system upgrade for a bit, but if throwing some mat down would help, I'd consider it.

Yes, it happens more than I'd like on my B&O OBX and on my fiancee's Mach-E Premium. No mods from factory at all to either audio system.

I got their other one, that mounts under the name plate in from of the console. I was tempted by that one, but my SO uses purses with very short straps, and that grab handle is the perfect place for her to hang them!

My SO's Mache-E and my Bronc have names for the Fordpass app, but they never caught on and got used in real life. My EG OBX is called Loki.
