I know the windows have been an ongoing problem with broncos. I have a 2023 Badlands and when I first got the car the one touch windows would go all the way up and then sometimes immediately go back down. Sometimes it was just one window. At some point they did a software update and it fixed that issue. This weekend the same thing happened again only on the rear driver's side window. If i do the single touch, it goes all the way up and comes down. If i hold the window up button the same thing happens. The only way it will stay closed if i go up almost to the top, and then very lightly touch it to just close the window. Anyone know what's going on? Is this happening to other people?

To reset the windows on a Ford Bronco, you'll need to perform a "relearn" procedure by fully lowering and then raising the window, holding the switch for a few seconds at each end of the travel. This recalibrates the window's position and can resolve issues like the window not fully closing or bouncing back.

Here's a step-by-step guide:
  1. Close the window completely.

  2. Lower the window: Press and hold the window switch until the window is fully down.

  3. Hold the switch for a few seconds: Continue holding the switch down for about 5-10 seconds after the window is fully down. Some users recommend for a 10-second hold, while others recommend 5.

    • Raise the window: Lift and hold the window switch until the window is fully up.
    • Hold the switch for a few seconds: Continue holding the switch up for about 5-10 seconds after the window is fully up.
    • Repeat if necessary: If the issue persists, repeat the entire process. Some users on Bronco6G forum suggest it might take a few tries.

I had a situation recently where the rear passenger side window would not go up all the way, and would immediately lower all the way every time. I tried the reset procedure several times, and that did not resolve the issue. What I did notice though, is that when the window was down all the way, it wasn't actually going down all the way and was still sticking up about 1.5 inches above the door. I physically had to push the window all the way down. As soon as I did that, the reset procedure worked and the window operated normally. That was several months ago now and I haven't had that issue happen again.
