Rear Dash Cam Mounting Location??

I love this! This is the camera my Uncle has and recommended. A couple questions;

How is the view for the rear camera? With the placement, I am curious if there is a "tunneling" from the aftermarket wheels.

How long of a cable did you get for the exterior camera?

I am considering this for my Bronco, but possibly down near the license plate.

Yes, there is a slight visual tunneling effect because of the wheel. However, it allows me to see an area the width of my vehicle which is all i really desired for potential rear end collisions.
The length of the cable was 9.5 meters (i have plenty of extra cable coiled and hidden in the tailgate). I could have easily gotten away with using the 7.5 length but i wanted the flexibility in case i switched locations later.

Awesome! Thanks for the quick and concise reply! Exactly what I wanted / needed to know. I don’t have an aftermarket rear bumper, or wheel (yet), so considering putting the camera near the plate.

Mine is attached to the rear glass at the top middle. No issues whatsoever. Try it, you can always move it wherever whenever

This is where mine is and it's been perfect. I get the most view out the glass and the cable runs neatly with the others.
