There's a number of solutions out there to mount a cargo carrier to the rear spare tire using straps, which look great but I dont love the strap idea.

There's a number of solutions available for jeep that mount to the tailgate using a shelf and don't attach directly to the tire -but I haven't seen any for the bronco yet. Wondering if anyone has seen this and/or where?

Something like this is what im looking for: https://a.co/d/0TDzrzK

Thanks!

What are you looking to store on this shelf/platform? I personally have the AAL platform because I wanted to be able to store a ROAM 95L case and my MaxTraxx. Yes its on by two ratchets... its not going anywhere. Good Luck on your search

That xrack looks pretty good

Looking to hold maxtrax and maybe some wood, outdoor tools like axe, shovel etc

Im not interested in a strap mounting solution because I think they're just way too easily removed - worried about it being stolen.

It looks like the shelf and the brackets can be removed fairly easily from the attachments that go between the tire and the tailgate? Is that true?
Yes, The top part removed easily - the bracket behind the spare stays on and is not visible. I remove the rack for the winter.

Favorite quote for dads after they shake/slap the straps.
